Every student begins by registering for the production matching their current grade level, and every registered student will be cast in a role. Full tuition is $550, billed over several months. Registration includes rehearsals, tech, performances, a script, costumes worn over a base layer, a show shirt, a professional headshot, and production photos.

Mainstage productions require an audition; most camps and classes do not. Registered students receive the audition sign-up link in their order confirmation. Prepare 16–32 bars of a song that shows personality and range, and bring printed sheet music for the accompanist.
Families are asked to let Ghostlight staff select the cast and rehearsal time that best fit each student. Requests for a specific cast must be submitted in writing at auditions. Siblings in one household are placed together; carpool restrictions can reduce casting options.
Attendance is essential. Students have a two-absence cap during regular rehearsals, and all tech rehearsals are mandatory. Absences must be emailed before rehearsal to ask@ghostlightetc.com. Students remain responsible for learning missed material through Ghostlight’s shared resources.
Students should bring a script, pencil with eraser, water bottle, and clothes suitable for movement. Attending another cast’s rehearsal requires explicit permission and is not intended as a routine substitute.
Tech week runs from the Sunday before opening through closing. Call times differ from normal rehearsals and are shared before tech begins. Students may be called as late as 10 p.m. and are expected to attend every scheduled tech rehearsal.
Students arrive one hour before their performance. Tickets are the only participation expense not included in tuition and are sold through Ludus. Orders, seat selections, and payments are managed by the purchaser. Guests younger than 13 must attend with an adult age 18 or older.
Payment is due at registration. Within 30 days of initial enrollment, the first payment is retained as a cancellation fee and future payments may be cancelled. Outside that window—or once the first rehearsal begins when it falls sooner—tuition remains due in full. Processing and card fees are not refundable.
Ghostlight’s nonprofit arm has funds available at varying levels for students facing financial hardship. Applications are confidential and are distributed as fairly as possible across sessions.
